The Transformation
Before
After
Crossroads Community Church Buckley (CCCB) exists to help people find Jesus, follow Jesus, and share Jesus in the Buckley, Washington community. Meeting Sundays at White River High School, the church serves families across Buckley, Enumclaw, Bonney Lake, and Lake Tapps.
The Challenge
Crossroads had a clear mission and a committed congregation — but their digital presence and outreach systems weren’t keeping pace with their vision for community growth. Their website needed to be rebuilt to better reflect the church’s identity and make it easier for first-time visitors to take the next step. Beyond the site, they needed a practical outreach strategy that would reach new families in the community and bring them through the door.
What We Did
Russo Collective is leading a full rebrand and digital rebuild for Crossroads, with an active outreach strategy running alongside the development work.
We are rebuilding the church’s website from the ground up with cleaner design, clearer messaging, improved navigation, and better pathways for first-time visitors to connect, learn about services, and take action. The new site is being built with SEO and GEO optimization to improve local search visibility across the communities Crossroads serves.
We also rebuilt the site’s navigation around how visitors actually think about a church — Ministries, Events, and a searchable sermon library — and built dedicated local landing pages for Buckley, Enumclaw, Bonney Lake, Lake Tapps, and the surrounding communities Crossroads serves, each optimized for both traditional and AI-powered search. A custom AI chat assistant now answers common visitor questions — service times, directions, ministries — any time of day, and the church’s Google Business Profile was fully optimized to strengthen local visibility.
In parallel, we executed a 5,000-piece direct mail postcard campaign targeting households in the Buckley area — designed to introduce the church to new families and drive first-time visits, working alongside the digital effort rather than separate from it.
We have also deployed AI-assisted email campaigns to help the church communicate more consistently and effectively with both current congregation members and prospective visitors.
The Result
The direct mail campaign delivered measurable results — Crossroads saw a 5% increase in first-time guests over the three months following the campaign. The website rebuild and expanded digital strategy are currently in progress, with the full platform launch anticipated later this year.
